EZ esplora le dinamiche di potere e il patto negoziato tra artista e pubblico. Attraverso pratiche estreme e delicate al tempo stesso, Zanzu estende un invito aperto a un dialogo vulnerabile sulla cura. EZ sfida binarismi come attività/passività, dominazione/sottomissione, maschile/femminile, dolore/piacere, artista/pubblico. È un rituale? Possiamo ridere? EZ, che in basco significa “no”, è un invito al “si”, possibile solo quando anche il “no” è un’opzione.

Per i suoi contributi tecnici e filosofici, EZ è citato in diverse pubblicazioni e articoli accademici e ha ricevuto il premio europeo Circusnext. Affronta questioni profonde parlando un linguaggio peculiare che arriva direttamente alle viscere e al cuore, rendendo questa performance unica.

EZ explores power dynamics and the pact negotiated between artist and audience.  Through practices that are both extreme and tender, Zanzu extends an open invitation to a vulnerable dialogue around care. EZ challenges binarisms such as activity/passivity, domination/submission, male/female, pain/pleasure, artist/audience. Is it a ritual? Can we laugh? How could taking care of that space manifest? Meaning no in Basque, EZ is an invitation to the yes, which is only possible when no is also an option.

For its technical and philosophical contributions, EZ is cited in several publications and academic works and has been awarded as a Circusnext Laureate project. It addresses deep questions speaking a peculiar language that communicates directly to the guts and heart, making this performance one of a kind.
