Jef e Marica si confrontano a partire dalle loro differenze: due corpi, due visioni del mondo, due modi di esistere che sembrano inconciliabili. Troppo distanti per trovare facilmente un punto d’incontro, troppo legati per ignorarsi. Che cosa significa essere in due senza confondersi? È possibile coesistere senza compromessi, senza ruoli dominanti, senza fusione?
Lo spettacolo nasce come un duetto fisico essenziale e rigoroso, in cui la roue Cyr diventa un vero e proprio terzo protagonista. Non un semplice attrezzo, ma un elemento vivo che separa, unisce, costringe, orienta, definendo traiettorie, tempi e scelte dei performer.
In Difference è “Laureato 2025” nell’ambito del progetto circusnext – European Circus Label, uno dei più importanti programmi europei dedicati ai nuovi linguaggi del circo contemporaneo.

Jef and Marica engage with each other starting from their differences: two bodies, two worldviews, two ways of existing that seem irreconcilable. Too distant to easily find common ground, too bound to ignore each other. What does it mean to be two without blending? Is it possible to coexist without compromise, without dominant roles, without fusion? 
The show is born as an essential and rigorous physical duet, where the Cyr wheel becomes a true third protagonist. Not just a simple prop, but a living element that separates, unites, forces, orients, defining trajectories, timings, and choices of the performers. In *Difference*, it is “Laureato 2025” in the circusnext – European Circus Label program, one of the most important European initiatives dedicated to the new languages of contemporary circus.
